Wallwork Gears were a long established Manchester UK based gearbox manufacturer trading up to the 1970s, after which ownership changed hands from Shackleton Engineering to Babcock Gears and finally Danross Engineering.
Although Wallwork gearboxes were supplied to big name companies many of those companies are long gone – but there are many original gearboxes still in service – a tribute to the Wallwork quality.
